As the founder and solo attorney at Stoltz Law, I help owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals start, grow, and sell businesses, while furthering the client’s goals and protecting their interests. I love the strategy and collaborative planning involved in business law and enjoy serving in the role of a trusted advisor supporting the business owner.

Prior to starting my practice, I worked at FINRA, one of the nation’s largest financial regulators, investigating securities law violations and protecting investors. I also served as a judicial law clerk at the District of Columbia Superior Court, worked in private practice at a small DC-area firm, and obtained my Master of Laws degree in securities law.

Originally from Colorado, I’ve called the Washington, D.C. metro area home since 2004. Outside of work, I enjoy running marathons, playing golf, and reading, especially biographies of business and military leaders. Fall Saturday afternoons are usually devoted to watching Notre Dame on the football field (Go Irish!). Most importantly, I love to spend time with my beautiful wife and our two sons.
